Port Andratx is a luxury resort in the southwest corner
of Mallorca. It is set in a beautiful natural bay with a backdrop of
rugged mountains and is considered to be one of the most exclusive resorts
in the Mediterranean.
There is a fishing fleet based in the harbour plus a
fine marina. A perfect centre for water sports. Scuba-divers will marvel at
the wonders of the sea. The sea is exceptionally clean and clear, giving
long distances of vision.
This location is also a fine choice for golfers.
There is an 18 hole golf course and driving range within 5 minutes drive.
There are a further 5 courses within 20 minutes drive offering challenges
for all levels of players.
The mountains offers great walks for the hikers
and for the more energetic, mountain biking and climbing. There are also lovely
beaches for those who wish to totally chill out and catch the sun, Camp de Mar
and St Elm are recommended beaches within 5/10 minutes drive. The Capital
city of Palma is also just 20 minutes away by car or taxi. |
