April

This is a busy time for Mallorca with the weather getting warmer, the Island starts to welcome visitors back to the Island.

Agricultural Fair Andratx

The stunning municipality of Andratx presents its agricultural fair weekend usually commencing 7th April.

Livestock expeditions are held over Saturday and Sunday and the craft market starts from 16.00 on Saturday in Place Espanya with an equestrian display at 18.00.

The evening has music and traditional dancing and if you have enough energy left some of the bars/restauarants take part in the Tapas Trail which begins at 21.00.

Easing you into the Sunday morning the livestock exhibition continues with sheep and poultry from 09.00.

The craft market opens at 09.00 and music is provided by pipes and drums. Children can get involved with pony rides/climbing walls and fair rides.

Easter

Easter week sees a lot of celebrations on the Island. Easter Thursday welcoms parades covering the Island with the largest being in Palma. Churches host special services on Easter Sunday and there are various agricultural fairs accross the Island.

Palma Boat Show

April 27th - 1st May generally sees the Palma International Boat show. This dominates the Marina by the Cathedral in Palma, this features beautiful yachts and all things Nautical.

Mallorca 312

This is a popular and gruelling bike race which happens every year. Riders race through the Serra de Tramuntana's gruelling climbs offering stunning views of the mountains and the sea. With 312 kilometres and 5,050 metres to climb, this is not for the faint-hearted. There are also shorter distances to choose from.
