June

June is a fantatstic month to visit Mallorca. High temperatures and a wealth of activities sees a rise in tourists and visitors to the Island.

June is when we start to see the re opening of major venues in Mallorca. In particular the luxury beach clubs accross the Island.

With five natural grass courts, the international competition in Santa Ponça is set to be high and will bring some of the biggest names in women's tennis to Mallorca.

The 'Night of Fire' festival is a very popular event in Mallorca. This is celebrated on 23rd June which is the Eve of the Fiesta of Sant Joan . The huge bonfires and fireworks displays, held each year in the Parc de la Mar and many of the island's beaches, mark the beginning of Mallorca's summer fiestas

Sant Joan Festival

On this day, the locals celebrate Sant Joan (John the Baptist) along with the summer solstice throughout Mallorca with a bank holiday.

Sant Pere Festival

The Sant Pere Festival is a traditional celebration held in various locations, especially in Catalan-speaking regions. The festival usually takes place around June 29th, which is the feast day of Saint Peter.These festivals often involve a combination of religious ceremonies, cultural events, music, dance, processions, and fireworks. Coastal towns may also include maritime elements to honor Saint Peter, who is considered the patron saint of fishermen. The festivities can vary from one location to another, but common elements include communal meals, parades, and activities for people of all ages. Processions of fishing boats in Port d'Andratx and Port d'Alcudia in honour of the patron saint of fishermen.
