March

March is a quieter month for festivals/events. With the skies getting bluer and the local flora and fauna Springing to life, the Island starts to bloom in colour.

Day of the Balearic Islands

This happens on 1st March and commemorates the date the Balearic Islands' Statute of Autonomy came into effect in 1983. Expect concerts, fairs and parties around the island.

Pottery Fair Marratxi

This is a week long event hosted by the beautiful area of Marratxi. Here you will find demonsrations on pottery and ceramics. There are also other events that add to this interesting fair.

Spring Festivals

Rural towns in Mallorca celebrate the start of Spring during March. Agricultural fairs featuring lifestock play a big part in the celebrations. Arts crafts and other family entertainment also happen.

Rally Isla Mallorca

This is Mallorca's most popular car rally. It usually takes place at the beginning of March. Puerto Portals hosts this 3 day event which sees wonderful cars taking part in the rally. This is a family friendly event and children love the Scalextric track! There are food trucks and entertainment available.
