May sees the glimmer of longer summer days and a host of activities accross Mallorca. This is a wonderful time to visit the Island with warmer temperatures but the beaches still quiet.

Ironman

This is an annual event which sees over 3500 athletes from all over the World competing for the title of Ironman. This brutal event sees competitors taking part in an ocean swim, bike rides and fininshing with a run. This is one where we will be watching from the sidelines!!

Es Firo ( Soller )

This is a special event which remembers the Moors v's Christians. A great mock battle takes place in Soller between the invading Moorish pirates and the defending Christian villagers. This is quite a lively celebration with street parties, firecrackers and fancy dress outfits.

Medival Fare

Step back in time at Capdepera's Medival Fare. This happens onthe third weekend in May. Travel back to the olden days with this family medival fair and market. Traditional costumes, music and street stalls all add to the character and atmosphere.
