Cala Vinyas
Cala Vinas is a resort in the southwest of Mallorca, approximately 20km and a 25 minute drive away from the capital city of Palma. The resort has a lovely, flat, sandy beach and playground area ideal for children. It is in close proximity to Sol De Mallorca and the elegant marina of Puerto Portals with its array of fabulous restaurants, bars and shops. More restaurants and bars can also be found near the popular beach in Portal Vells and for those of you who would like to a play a round of golf, the local courses of Santa Ponsa and Bendinat are a short 10 minute drive away.

Seafood Restaurants: Given the town's coastal location, you can expect to find restaurants that specialize in fresh seafood. These establishments may serve a variety of fish, shellfish, and other maritime delights.
Mediterranean Cuisine: Mallorca, like much of the Mediterranean, has a rich culinary tradition. Look for restaurants offering traditional Mediterranean dishes, which often include olive oil, fresh vegetables, and a variety of herbs and spices.
Spanish Tapas Bars: Tapas are a popular Spanish dining tradition, featuring small, shareable plates. You might find tapas bars where you can enjoy a variety of small bites along with drinks.

Things to do
The Beach : Cala Vinas is known for it's family friendly small sandy cove. There is nothing better than relaxing on a sun lounger and enjoying watching the children having fun in the sea.
Watersports : Cala Vinas is not the busiest resort for watersports but you can enjoy activities such as snorkelling, paddle boarding and jet skiing.
Nearby beaches : Cala Vinas is in a great location for exploring nearby resorts and beaches. Your closest being Palma Nova and Magaluf which offer a wide range of facilities.
Golf : If you enjoy a round or two the resort is close to Golf Santa Ponsa.
Golf Santa Ponsa is an ideal location to play golf in the area as it has a course of 18 holes, with the 10th hole being one of the longest in Europe at 590 meters. The course itself has beautiful views of Puig Galatzó and covers an area of 73 hectares, with a variety of trees and lakes to pass as you progress. The course is designed to appeal to all players, with wide fairways and tees for long hitters to enjoy. In addition to the course, you will also have at your disposal a driving range to practice your game, a chipping area and two putting greens. Santa Ponsa Golf Club also offers a variety of dishes at the restaurant for lunch, as well as a lounge and terrace area beside the pool to take time to relax after a round of golf.
