The area of Porto Colom in Mallorca is on the South East coast and is named ( allegedly ) after Christopher Columbus as he was thought to be born there!! The resort is in the district of Felantix and is only 12km away from the town itself.

If you are looking for a more laid back traditional resort to stay then this is the one for you. Porto Colom is a traditional fishing village and has done well to keep it's original charm. The town is known for its natural harbour, which is one of the largest and most well-protected harbours in Mallorca, historically serving as a trading post for goods like wine and olive oil.

The town itself has a historic centre with narrow streets and traditional Mediterranean architecture. The Sant Salvador Church, dating back to the 18th century, is one of the notable historical landmarks in Porto Colom.

The main beach in Porto Colom is Cala Morcal. This is a stretch of sandy shallow waters making it perfect for families. There are several beautiful beaches and coves around Porto Colom, offering clear waters and sandy shores

There are only a small selection of shops in Porto Colom so for a wider choice Felantix has more to offer including a local market on a Sunday.

The waterfront and town centre are lined with restaurants and cafés where visitors can enjoy traditional Spanish cuisine, fresh seafood, and local specialties.

The popular area of Cala D'or is a short drive away, perfect for a family day out.

There are a good selection of Golf course in the area in-particular Vall D'or Golf which has panoramic views.
