Welcome to S'Arraco

This is a charming sleepy village within the munciplity of Andratx. In S'Arraco you will find it quiet, relaxing and a truly authentic holiday experience. The village is steeped in architecture where you will find narrow streets, stone buildings and quaint squares,

S'Arraco is a close knit community and you will find locals enjoying various traditions and festivals. The village also attracts a number of artists due to its spectacular landscapes and light.

Although the resort is small, as the area is surrounded by the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains, it is extremely picturesque and an ideal location for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling. Golf de Andratx is also a short drive away for the golf enthusiasts among you.

Visit the church: The Church of Sant Carles is a notable landmark in S'Arracó. You can visit this beautiful church to appreciate its architecture and perhaps attend a local religious ceremony.

Hiking and cycling

Being surrounded by beautiful countryside including the Tramuntana Mountain Range, S'Arraco is the perfect base for a hiking/cycling holiday, close by is Cala Llamp Bay for even more scenic beauty. A popular route is S'Arraco - Sant Elm. This is a 7.3km hike and takes around 2 hours. Why not combine this with a boat trip to Sa Dragonera as boats regualry leave St.Elm for this protected nature and marine reserve. Also close by is the the Trappist Monastery of Sa Trapa - a refuge for hikers! For the more active/experienced runner there are trail running routes to enjoy also.

Amenities

As S'Arraco is a small traditional village you will find a small selection of amenities here. There are a handful of restaurants including :

  • Raco des Puput - this is a small family restaurant which was established in 2014. A variety of tapas, salads, meat dishes, pastas and specialities can be found on the menu. The restaurant is located on Carrer del Atajo, tel 0034 871 517 784
  • C'an Prima - this quaint restaurant offers excellent quality pizza, burgers and salads and can be found on Carrer d'en tomar monjo tel 0034 971 675 219

There are also 2 bars in the village, a small supermarket, a bakery, chemist and bank. For larger amenities the resorts of Camp de Mar and Port Andratx are just a short drive away. Port Andratx also hosts a local market every Wednesday - perfect for getting you hands on local produce.

Local festivals

There are lots of local festivals throughout the year in S'Arraco and neigbouring villages. Music and celebrations take place during an annual village festival in August.

Golf

S'Arraco is close to upmarket beach and golf resorts - Camp de Mar and The Andratx Golf club are just a short drive away.

Beaches

S'Arracó is not far from the coast, and you can visit nearby beaches such as Camp de Mar, Cala Llamp, or Sant Elm. These beaches offer the chance to relax, swim, or partake in water sports.
