If you are looking for venues that just have that something extra special or you have a special occasion to celebrate, there are 10 restaurants in Mallorca that have been awarded a Michelin Star. 1 Michelin Star Restaurants :

Dins

Dins is a fabulous adult only restaurant situated in Sa Calatrava a historical neighbourhood within Palma, not far from the fabulous Cathedral. Dins head Chef Santi Taura began his training in 1990 and has worked in many restaurants and hotels on the Island. Dins was opened in February 2016 with the mantra that the food 'Interprets Mallorcan Gastronomy from a current point of view without forgetting it's roots' The dining room is modern with large plush seats.

Dins is an elegant restaurant and can be found on the groung floor of the El Llorenc Parc de La Mar boutique hotel. Head Chef provides a tasting menu called Origens 11, this is an 11 course meal although 3 extra courses can be added. The dishes change throughout the year as Chef Taura uses the freshest seasonal products. An A La Carte menu is also available to diners. Bens d'Avall

This well established restaurant was opened in 1971 by head chef Benet Vicens's mother and grandmother running things in the kitchen. Today Benet and his talented son will provide the food for you!

The restuarant is the perfect hideaway with views of the Mediterranean and mountains in Soller. The restaurant was renovated in 2016 and has a relaxed ambience. Specialising in Mallorcan cuisine Bens d'Avall has a 12 course tasting menu which is 130€ to make the most of the dishes they recommend the wine pairing option which is an extra 75€. Adrian Quetglas

Adrian Quetglas is the chef behind this chic establishment, born in Buenos Aires his cooking is influenced with home dishes and Mallorquin dishes as well as working in restaurants from Paris to Moscow where he has also been influenced. The decor is contemporary and smart and they have a canopied terrace for out door dining. The restaurant offers a 5 or 7 course tasting menu at a very resonalble price. The 5 course tasting menu consists of dishes such as Cebon with mushrooms and cauliflower with smoked eel. A cheese tasting board can be added for 20€ per person extra. The charge for the 5 course option is 55€ per person and can be enjoyed Tuesday - Friday at lunch time. The 7 couse tasting menu is available from tuesday - saturday in the evening and saturday afternoon. This consists of dished including natural red mullet and garam masala sweet lamb. This menu is 85€ per person - the wine paring option is an extra 35€ per person.

Andreu Genestra

This is a fine dining restaurant located in Hotel Zoetry Mallorca Llucmajor. The restaurant was opened in 2012 and awarded a Michelin star in 2015. The establishment is in a small country house with views of Capdepera Castle from the terrace. Chef grows organic vegetables, fruits and herbs on the estate and adds to his traditional dishes. There are 14 chefs and 8 waiters. On the menu are 4 different tasting menus which are changed every 3 months due to the seasons. The tasting menus are called Mediterranean which is 125€ pp, Mediterranean Extreme - 150€ pp Mediterranean Green - 125€ pp and the create your Mediterranean which has a choice of 2 courses at 90€ or 3 courses at 100€. Es Fum

Located within the 5 star St Regis Mardavall Hotel in Costa D'en Blanes, Es Fum is a old World charm restaurant that was awarded it's star in 2011. Head Chef Jose Miguel Navarro has worked in top restaurants around the World including El Celler de Can Roca. Es Fum has a more intimate ambience with table set above the hotel's gardens.

Es Fum is a seasonal restaurant and is open for dinner only Wednesday - Sunday 7.30-10.30. There are 3 tasting menus available, the Origen which is 165€ pp, the Recorrido which is 185€ pp and the Vegetal which is 135€ pp. All of which can be wine paired recommended by the in house sommelier. Maca de Castro

This high class restaurant is run by Macarena Castro the first female chef in Mallorca to be awarded a Michelin Star ( 2012 ). This fantastic establishment formerly know as El Jardin is known for its creative and highly skilled Mediterranean and Mallorcan cuisine.

Head Chef Macarena adds her own style to her dishes which change reguarly. The decor is contemporary and has the familiy's artwork on display. The restaurant is closed in Winter months. The restaurant can be found above The family Castro's Del Jardin restaurant and Gastrobar ina quiet residential street in Puerto D'Alcudia. Marc Fosh

Marc Fosh is the first British Chef in Spain to be awared a Michelin Star which was obtained in 2015 and has been retained every year since. This contemporary restaurant is located in a former 17th Centuary Convent in Palma. The venue has plenty of natural light has a modern feel, courtyard and is surrounded by modern art. On the menu is fresh seasonal and local cuisin and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner ( closed for sunday dinner during the Winter ). There is a set lunch time tasting menu which is changed weekly and a dinner tasting menu which includes dishes such as Foie Gras, Organic Caviar, Sea Bass and Pigeon. Zaranda

This is a high end restaurant located in Palma. Opened in Madrid in 2005, Zaranda gained it's first Michellin star. The whole restuarant and team moved to Mallorca in 2010 and in 2016 received it's 2nd Star. There are 14 professionals in the kitchen led by Head Chef Fernando P Aerllano whom has worked in some of the most famous restaurants in the World. There is a choice of 3 taster menus starting with Zarand Essentials which is 130€ pp, Zaranda Second Skin which is 150€pp and Zaranda Collegens which is 170€pp, each can be wine paired for an extra charge. Fusion 19

If you are going to start with a restaurant it has to be Fusion 19 - awarded with a Michelin Star. This is fine dining establishment in Playa D'Muro. Impeccable service, crips linens and calm lighting all add to a wonderful dining experience. Head Chef Javier Hoebeck and his young professional team invite you to 'travel through the authenticity of the local product ' The dishes here comine local flavours with Asian and South American Influences. VORO

Headed by Chef Alvaro Salazar, this is a beautiful venue found in th Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, Canyamel. This understated yet classic restaurant was awarded it's 2nd Star during the Pandemic. Voro is known for ir's vibrant, succulent and surprising taster Menu of which there are 2 choices, Menu Voro which has 20 creations and is 190€pp with wine paring an extra 120€pp and the second choice is Menu DeVoro which has 25 creations and is 220€ pp with wine paring an extra 150€pp. Whichever you choose you will be amazed by the quality of the food and how it appears on the dish, too good to eat!
