Alcudia Beach is a beautiful blue flag beach with fine, white sand, which
stretches along the coastline from the Port de Alcudia. The beach is extremely popular,
particularly with families, as the water is shallow and ideal for children to
play in safely with lifeguards on duty during the busier periods if needed. The
water is a wonderfully clear turquoise colour and is lovely for a swim if you
venture out into the deeper parts or to look at from the comfort of a sun lounger.
A number of boat trips start from here, ranging from half-day cruises to diving
expeditions and water sports are popular in this area.
The location of the beach is good for numerous amenities and facilities,
with plenty of toilets and showers available on the beach and a selection of
cafes and restaurants to choose from along the beach front. The beach has wooden
walkways at the rear to allow easier access for the disabled and for families
with pushchairs and parking is available in the dedicated free parking areas or
on the roads behind the beach.
